FREEDOM From Floaters
Floaters are benign specs or lines that can appear in one's visual field that drift along with eye movements. They are thought to be caused by protein deposits in the vitreous humor. They are more common in nearsighted people. While quite common and usually benign many people find them VERY annoying. Is it possible to eliminate them naturally?
Once diagnosed by an eye professional, there are natural means that can be safely employed to help restore your vision.
#1 DIET
Reduce sugars and junk food immediately. A whole foods diet with lots of different colored fruits and vegetables and tons of fresh water is beneficial to all aspects of your health and will reduce stress on your eyes. If you don't like fruits and vegetables or want to do more consider a whole foods supplement like: Green's First or Greens First Berry to supply a plethora of antioxidant nutrients for the eye like bilberry, grape seed and lutein. These nutrients also reduce oxidative stress. More about diet later on.
#2 Supplements
Ocular Supplement: a TOP OF THE line supplement like our OCU-CLEAR contains all the top Nutrients for eye health in one convenient formula.
Hyaluronic Acid: A component of the vitreous humor, HA while not studied has lots of anecdotal reports of being helpful. It is safe to take. A three to four month trial is necessary to see if it will be helpful for you. Natural supplements do not work immediately.
#3 Eyedrops
Eyedrops that nourish and lubricate the lens may be helpful. I have recommended ITONE with good results. MSM eyedrops have been touted across the internet but seem to have very mixed results with some claiming a worsening of their condition so I dot not recommend them.
#4 ENZYME and others
Serrapeptase may be helpful in clearing debris quickly from the visual field. We are currently doing some trials with clients. Our serrapeptase product is HERE.
Taurine: Taurine is an essential amino acid that is a natural cure for floaters because it nourishes the retina. It is not synthesized by the body and must be consumed. Foods high in Taurine are seafoods especially shellfish. If you do not eat these often consider supplementing.
In Chinese medicine, acupuncture and herbs can do along way to accelerate healing of floaters while helping your health in many ways. Liver and kidney issues such as liver qi stagnation, liver eat and kidney deficiency are some of the causes of floaters according to Chinese medicine.
Herbals like Vision A can also be used as Chrysanthemum and Tribulus help this condition. A course of acupuncture and herbs for your condition can be very helpful. A course of treatment over two to three months would be typical.
Finally, Yoga, Prayer, Meditations, Affirmations as well as other forms of stress reduction have been reported to be quite beneficial for floaters. Stress has been identified as a cause for floaters.
Commitment and diligence is necessary to treat this condition naturally but the results are great and benefit your entire body as well as your vision.
