                           No to NANO???? 

 

So here's the nutshell of the current controversy.   The promise of nanotechnology in food production is increased productivity and decreased costs (it's always about dollars)....the real cost....no one has any idea what the ramification is on the human body or other forms of life on this planet.

 

As predicted, all the largest food manufacturers in the world are jumping on this technology but most of this is being kept very hush hush.  According to polls, people do not seem apt to jump on the Nanotech bandwagon when it comes to their foods.

 

I'll put myself out on a limb here and state that there is no real research that has taken into effect what consequences this technology will have on mankind and the environment.  Until there is some real information about its usage and safety...I'm going to side with Sting...who "never saw a miracle of science", and just say no.
