Retinol, or the very similar retinyl palmitate, on the other hand stands heads and shoulders above prescription versions because pure retinol functions exactly the same but without the side effects: burning, peeling and skin dryness. So this means that efficacy is exactly the SAME!!!!
To locate a good product retinol or retinyl palmitate should be the first ingredient on the product label. Both my products Fix Up and Nourish Up contain these as the first ingredient. Best results on either is achieved when either is used twice a day. Otherwise, check your own product label and use as directed.
