The World Health Organization recognizes its ability to treat many disorders. Dr. DeCicco trained in Beijing and the U.S. and has been Board-Certified in Acupuncture since 2002, by the National Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine.

While acupuncture is mainly recognized in the U.S. as Chinese Medicine, in China, herbal medicine is its main modality. In China, it is said that food and medicine share a common source. Likewise, at our clinic individualized herbal teas or decoctions are sometimes prescribed for our patients, or patent formulas prescribed, based on correcting their system’s disharmony. Dr DeCicco received her M.S.O.M. in Chinese Herbal Medicine, Summa Cum Laude in 2005.

Flower essences are another form of homeopathy, an energy medicine modality, created from the essence of actual flowers to treat emotional or spiritual imbalances that manifest in the body. We have found these highly effective in treating all types of emotional disorders. Dr. DeCicco appears on the FES website.
