Before proceeding protect the client’s eyes with cotton pads dampened in warm water. Apply a thin layer with a brush, spatula or fingertips over the entire face starting with the neck line, then jaws, cheeks, chin, nose and forehead. Avoid applying mask to lips, mouth, hairline, eyebrows and the area around the eyes. Paste masks need to be applied in a thin layer so that the drying stage does not take to long to set.
